Will miss our crazy stuff going on it. What happend in Asia stays in Asia

soon soon soon

Bye bye Thailand, hello Shanghai

After two nights of no sleep (night buss + airport sleeping), I arrived to Shanghai this afternoon. To sum it up: I had two great weeks. Kind of pity for all rain, but my copmany of the french people was a great one! Thanks for a good week and have fun in Singapore (they continue for another week while I am heading "back home" to Switzerland). More picture from Thailand to come!

Great memories to bring back home

For shore I had a second time the time of my life in Shanghai. My past in Switzerland is one of my highlights, so is Shanghai. This is our management "gang" at a karaoke bar (or VIP room)....two weeks ago. Tonight is my second last night in Shanghai. I gues everything must come to an end....so my life in Asia. Goodbye Asia, hello Europe!

Rain rain rain rain rain rain (sun) rain rain rain rain

We do our best between the rain to enjoy the sunshine. We had a walk for 10 minutes at
the beach able to take some photos with sunshine! Come on Thailand. Sun please!

Full moon Party

I am ready!

Very lonley. Like it or not?!

Wiev from my breakfast

I just wonder....where are all the people? Tomorrow I will go to other side of the Iland with more people. Its sooo since here, but I am going crazy with no people around my. Found out yesterday that I was the only one at my resort. Own beach, own restauran.....everything only for me. Kind of crazu, and lonley!

Koh Panghan

It was a rainy start. Lonley, cold and angry. Ended up with an amazing view at the beach arouind six. Tomorrow I will get some copmay from France. Val is coming. Moving forwrad, probably to Hada Rin Beach (full moon party this weekend). I just hope it stops raining! I need a tan!

Great Palace

This is a pic from my temple visit at Sunday. Cover both arms and legs was a must.

First day in BK

Today was my first day (of three) in BK. I had a great breakfast around nine before my culture side started to explore BK. I went to a big buddha and the Great Palace. I can not show pictures now beacuse the copmuter I use do not take USB sticks (grrr). I upload it later. AFter that I took the river boat back to the neghbourhood where I stay here in BK....Koh San Road. I meet a guy from Alaska and a girl from Holland. AFter some small talk we split up. I had a nap and then I went for dinner. Oh yeah, I also went to a tourist office and the woman who worked tehre had a boyfriend in Sweden, she just loved me. I booked bus tomorrow to Koh Panghan and also hostel for two nights to be shore. Maybe a little bit over price but now I am safe. Have only few minutes left here  (internet cafe). Update with pics later. MUST SEE!

Must try!

This is strange!

Arrived in BK

Picture from last night. Koh San Road, most famous backpacking street in BK, where I live now for two nights.
The other pic, my delicious breakfast

Goodbye dinner

The once of us that had time tonight had a last dinner for me at one of my favorite chineese restaruants. The lady who works there alwyas gives us 10-20% doscount. We hade this dinner for 23 RMB each (equal in SEK). Tobias, Val, Tiffnay me and Oskar it was! Thank you for a delicious and nice dinner!

Starbucks sum it up

It feels kind of strange. Today is my second last day here in Shanghai. Next up is Thailand for two weeks following by three weeks in Switzerland. Hm? I went into the city for my last "fake" shopping and afterwards I went to Starbucks. I sat there for ours reading a book and just took in a lots of impressions from people passing by and was reflecting on my time I have spent here in Shanghai. With mixed feeling I leave this country. Be back one day, but do not ask me when.

Shanghai university festival - celebration with flowers

Yeah, mum....you would have been impressed by the school area. Workers have been decorating the Campus area for weeks with flowers and other trees. I wish you could see it live. Two pictures provided, many more taken=)

"Real China" - the back of Shanghais´s skyline

Confused in need

You needed me

I cried a tier, Oh, I did try

I was confused, you cleared my mind

I sold my soul,  you bought it back from me

You helped me up, you gave me dignity

Somehow you needed me

You gave me strength, to stand alone again

To face the world, on out my own again

So how on earth can I only be thinking of return again

I needed, you, and you where there

I finally find someone that really cared

You held my hand, and it was closed,

I was lost, you took me home

You turn my lies, back into true again

You gave me strength, to stand alone again

I need you, you need me

Autumn

Also here in Shanghai the summer ends. And so it dit...quickly change from one day to another. Blowing, raining...it is cold. I bought myself new boots (summer shoes is not appropiate anymore), scarf and a munk jacket, cause I am freeeeezing. To bad for me that I send my UGG´s home to Sweden. I will probably by anohter pair today....but what colour? As you understand, warmer clothes are needed over here now. But truly I dont mind. I love Autumn. I love the fashion of Autumn clothes. I love lightning a candle. I love drinking coffe when I am studying. I do love Autumn!

Shanghai friends

The drawback of travelling, living at different places and never really stay at one place more than for a period of time is all the lovley people you get to know during your journey. I believe me myself is sometimes scared of getting to know new people, since a goodbye will be sooner than I wish. Here in Shanghai I have really had a wonderfule time, and that is thanks to all the lovley friends I have made here. Thanks you guys! Hope to see some of you back home in Sweden, some people somewhere, someday out there in our winderfule world!

EXPO end - SHA end

This weekend, it was the last one for EXPO - the world exhibiton in Shanghai. I was there twice and it will probably be one of my lifes big "wow´s". This picture is taken outside the swedish pavilion. And, as EXPO has ended, so will soon my time in Shanghai do. Sadly is my term here very short (ten weeks), but happely I will soon meet my family and boyfriend. I guess all good things must come to an end. But, with an end comes a new start.  My life is never borring, that´s for shore!

By the way....whos picture is the best one?
